Hello visitor and welcome to Shades of Grey, a shrine dedicated to the Viking vampire Sheriff Eric Northman of HBO‘s famed True Blood. Shades of Grey provides both basic and objective content as well as in-depth and opinionated content about Eric so whether you are new to the True Blood universe or are a long time fan of the series, you should be able to find something to satisfy your needs.

Caveat
Although Charlaine Harris and her books have their own page, the focus of this shrine is the Eric portrayed in True Blood. Too often The Southern Vampire Mysteries and True Blood are considered to be the same thing, or rather the latter is a sort of alternative version of the former. What I wanted to do instead is to treat True Blood and “its Eric” as free as possible from The Southern Vampire Mysteries contamination. Don’t get me wrong, I do enjoy the books, but I feel it is fair to give each work its own space.
Spoilers
Spoilers are kept at minimum in the Introduction and in the first section of the Eric page (“Basic information”), while they abound in all the other pages. All the information found at the moment on Shades of Grey covers the first two seasons of the show.
Also, given that True Blood is still running, Shades of Grey has to be considered as a work in progress and, depending on my network projects schedule, pages will be edited according to new developments.
