Cold Weather

Cold Weather is usually associated with the Winter season in many parts of the world. Indeed meteorological winter is the season having the shortest days and the lowest temperatures. Meteorological winter conventionally includes the moths of December, January and February in the Northern Hemisphere, while it includes the months of June, July and August in the Southern Hemisphere.

I absolutely love cold weather and all the things it brings: from the attire (coats, scarves, gloves, etc…) to meteorological events like snow, from drinking hot chocolate to snuggle up under a wool blanket. After all, I find it easier to get warm in winter rather than trying to get cold in summer!

On the other hand, I cannot stand hot weather (which for me means anything above 35-40 °C). Heat and humidity make me feel sleepy, dizzy and tired. Plus I hate those nasty headaches I get, despite wearing sunglasses and a cap. I do also have several allergies that warm weather can only worsen. Even with an air conditioner turned on during the hottest hours of the day, it is hard for me to work. :/
