Special: Wishlist
Top Wishlisters
These are my biggest wishlisters, all of them are really close to my heart (okay…I’m sure that sounds rather sappy). Anyway, all of the following subjects have a really special meaning to me and therefore I’d absolutely love to run, or co-own, a fanlisting for them.

Light Yagami – Anime/Manga. When I noticed that all the animes I had watched were pretty old (read: pre-1997), I decided to pick something more recent and my choice was Death Note. Light Yagami seemed cool enough to justify it xD. Fangirlism aside, Light perfectly falls in the category of characters I like the most: evil, fascinating and smart. His original idea was to eliminate criminals, then it gradually shifted to eliminate everyone who posed a treat to him. He may be despised as a person (me myself do not agree with all his actions), but he is a real genius and a very interesting character.

House MD – TV Shows. Finally a show that breathes some new life in the medical drama genre. Gregory House is a sort of Gil Grissom (CSI is another favourite show of mine) with a stethoscope who studies every little clue to figure out how to cure the patient. House, played by an amazing Hugh Laurie, steals every scene he is in, but also the supportive cast is great so there’s never the risk to see a boring one man show. Another element I like is the huge number of references, quotations and funny one liners that are scattered in every episode. After the first episodes, I became addicted to this show as much as House is addicted to his Vicodin pills!

Muse – Musicians: Bands/Groups. After watching on TV the video of Feeling Good, I rushed to buy Muse’s Origin of Symmetry album and I’m glad I did because they became one of my top favourite bands. Despite being only a three piece band, Muse have an incredible powerful and peculiar sound. Matthew Bellamy alone delivers such an energy, especially during live performances. Muse have evolved from album to album and they have never failed to satisfy my expectations. Every time they schedule a new album release I wonder how they could top their previous works, yet they always surprise me. They are that good!

My Chemical Romance – Musicians: Bands/Groups. I’ve been supporting My Chemical Romance since the early days on Myspace, the first song of theirs I heard was “Our Lady of Sorrows”…I fell in love right away! When it comes to My Chemical Romance I can be quite fangir-ly: I own the now much sought after Gerard action figure (actually owned before a “friend” lost it), the limited edition of “The Black Parade”, the vinyl versions of “Headfirst for Halos” and “I’m not Okay” and, obviously, a large number of t-shirts and posters. Quite a few people have begun to turn on My Chemical Romance for selling out, because they keep changing their sound. In my view, I’d call it progress and I think it’s great that a band can be so versatile.
Other Wishlisters
Characters: Book/Movie
- Edmund Pevensie – Edmund is by far my favourite character among the Pevensie children. While the others are good from the start, he was willing to do anything just to grab some more Turkish Delight, even handling the very members of his family to the White Witch. But after various events, he makes amends for his mistakes and in the end becomes completely different from the little, mean boy he was. You see…I don’t like only bad guys. I do also like bad guys who redeem themselves
Relationships: TV
- Kate Austen/James “Sawyer” Ford – Each character has such a positive effect on the other. Sawyer becomes a better man thanks to Kate and Kate can find in Sawyer a person who can understand her. When apart they are deeply unhappy, when together you can see the sparks flying. They will always be my Lost OTP, there is such an unbelievable chemistry between them that they should be definitely together.
Wishes Granted
Ben Barnes – Actors, James “Sawyer” Ford (Lost) – Characters: TV, Julian Sark (Alias) – Characters: TV, Lauren Reed/Julian Sark (Alias) – Relationships: TV
