Hi! This is Sohryu Projects, a page dedicated to show the visitors of Sohryu.nu what is the current status of the domain and its websites. Initially I wanted to keep this page only for me, but then I thought someone else might be interested in catching a glimpse of what's happening on Sohryu.nu.

Sofia - December 4, 2011 - Updates Archive
Network Status
December 2011: I'm currently doing a (non-paid D:) stage, which keeps me busy for a few hours per-week. Aside from that…spare time *yay*. My plan is to gradually update all the sites, which are already online (some of them were updated over the summer/early autumn, check the update post for details) and at the same time work on new ones, either through Amassment's marathons or my own to-do list. Despite my current freedom, Sohryu.nu is still maintained as a hobby so offline duties will always come first.
Active Sites
Active websites are pretty much OK as they are right now. Aside from the occasional link check; proof-reading; or layout change, they will be updated on a "when they need it" basis.
- Hello Jupiter: the update blog is updated whenever I have some huge or important posts to make. Quick and short updates instead, can be found on the network's Twitter account.
- Navi: after making the kind of layout I wanted to make for, Navi, analogously to Hello Jupiter, will be updated only when I open a new site.
- Oh Poison!: as the network's fanlisting collective Oh Poison! will be updated only when I adopt/open a new fanlisting, close/ adopt out/update my current fanlistings.
- The Wired: occasional links checks and new sections in the Fandom page when I launch a site from a series (anime, manga, videogame...), that hasn't been covered yet.
High Priority Sites
High priority applies to all those websites that are in dire need of an update. This label is normally applied to projects which are already online, but still incomplete (some more, some less). High priority also means that I'm currently working on one or more of these websites.
- Blitzartig: I have a Final Fantasy VIII shrine on my to-do list so it's time to work on Blitzartig again. Scheduled for the next update are: completition of the Biography section and, maybe, launch of the Media section.
- Silhouette: Silhouette was updated with the Nightmare Before Christmas' screencaps and, after Weird's launch, Serial Experiments Lain scans. I still have to make a new layout, though.
Medium Priority Sites
As with the high priority websites, the medium priority ones are incomplete sites as well. However, although they need work, they aren't falling to pieces like the high priority sites are. Once the hight priority sites will have been taken care of, the medium priority ones will take their place. In other words, I will work on these websites only when all the high priority sites have been updated.
- Ab Intra: Light's shrine is by no means complete, but before adding new sections and completing those I had began to draft before launching the site, I must finish to watch the anime. I would also like to re-read the manga so both things will take some time.
Low Priority Sites
Like both the high and medium priority websites, the low priority ones aren't complete yet. Despite that, working on these websites isn't, at the moment, important so don't expect an update anytime soon.
- Carpe Diem: facelift? I like the premade I'm using, but it's been up for a long time so I might replace it with either a layout made by me or, more likely, another premade. I would also like to add new userpics (after moving the update part to Hello Jupiter I regained some space, which was previously cluttered up by websites' icons). I will also try to update Carpe Diem more often.
- I Miss You: fan-made content is still lacking, but I Miss You now has a complete screencap gallery. Content-wise instead this shrine is still considered to be complete.
- Odi et Amo: the Biography section was finished and it now covers all the 26 episodes of the series. I also run a complete link check and many caps were added to the Story section to highlight some important Asuka/Shinji interactions.
- Shades of Grey: although Shades of Grey didn't receive any formal update, I watched True Blood season 3 during the summer. I also re-watched season 2 since the first version of the shrine was mostly focused on the first season of the show. I collected a lot of material to both update old pages and write many new ones so I plan to update this shrine once the high and mid-priority sites have been cleared.
- Weird: despite being my most recent shrine, I could already deem Weird as an almost complete site. Content-wise, this shrine has all the sections I had planned, media-wise I have to add the episodes' screencaps (all the artbooks are already available) and possibly some fan-made goodies.
Inactive Sites
Inactive sites aren't complete yet but, unlike all their predecessors, they are usually static because I need to do something (normally something that takes a lot of time ie. replay a certain videogame) before being able to update and/or finish them.
- Nocturne: I recently revised this shrine: proof-reading all the pages; cleaning up links; etc.... Text-wise Nocturne is fairly complete, I may only need to write two more pages, while I would like to expand the Media section with more fan-made material (icons, FST, etc...). Nocturne is currently static and will remain in this state until I replay Final Fantasy X-2, hopefully before the end of the summer.
- Nymph: as with Nocturne, Nymph was completely revised and will be static until I play the PSP version of Final Fantasy IV and The After Years. Text-wise this shrine is already complete and I do not plan to add new pages. I do however want to open a Media section hence the need to play the game on a console that makes screencapping easy.
- Project E: new name, this one was supposed to be temporary! Obviously Project E is closely connected to Odi et Amo, but there are also other Evangelion-related projects I have in mind. Also, a proper layout wouldn't hurt ;)
- Sohryu.nu: until I have two shrines 100% completed, Sohryu will remain on hiatus. Hopefully its grand reopening will take place before the end of 2011!
Upcoming Sites
These sites are not online yet, but someday they will. All of them are projects on which I have already started to work or I'm going to work in the near future. Also, this list includes only those sites I'm 100% sure I'll bring to completition. And since I'm a bit superstitious you won't find names here, but you will still be able to have an idea of what's coming up ;)
- Clique: even though cliques aren't as popular as in the old days, I cultivated the idea to make one for my favourite type of characters...we'll see how it goes!
- Evangelion shrine: I like so many characters from Evangelion it is hard to pick only one, but this one ranks high among my favourites so...(s)he will have her/his small dedication.
- Final Fantasy VIII shrine: my first Final Fantasy, VIII always held a special place in my heart. And so does this character for whom I meant to make a shrine since my early shrining days!
- One Page shrine: like last year, I intend to participate to Amassment's "One Page, One Month" marathon and create another one-page shrine. I still haven't decided which subject am I going to pick, but I will definitely find one :)
