Hello visitor and welcome to Nocturne the first shrine dedicated to the character of Shuyin from Final Fantasy X-2 by Square-Enix. Final Fantasy X-2 is the first direct sequel to a Final Fantasy and, continuing the list of “firsts”, also the first game of the Final Fantasy saga after Squaresoft’s merge with Enix.

The aim of Nocturne is to provide basic, in-depth and story-related information in order discover this character and explain the tragic love story behind Final Fantasy X-2.

Requirements

Nocturne is best viewed in 1280×960 or 1280×800 resolution+. It has been tested with Firefox 3.6, Safari 3.2 and Internet Explorer 8, although it should be rendered correctly in any modern browser. The navigation can be easily found in the sidebar on your left, sub-sections, if available, will be displayed right under the main menu.

Spoiler alert!

This site is filled with unmarked spoilers, actually if you haven’t finished Final Fantasy X-2 even talking about Shuyin is spoiler-ish. Also, from time to time I’ll make references to Final Fantasy X, so it’s best to have a certain familiarity with its events and characters. (I did provide a summary of the main story, though).
