As in the previous battle, you should use your strongest attacks (Excalibur, Darkness) against Vegnagun. Don’t bother attacking the three nodes: both their magic and physical defences are really high, their HP is also much higher than the one of your true enemy. The White Mage can use Protect to reduce the damages and optionally Reflex to send back to Vegnagun all its magic attacks. If you do cast Reflex however, stop using Curaga, as it will be healing Vegnagun, and use the command Pray instead. Once Vegnagun’s HP are low it will unleash a strong attack that damages the whole party and as secondary effect inflicts Delay. Counteract with Hi-Potion ad Remedy.
This is your last chance to go back to the Save Sphere! Nooj and Gippal are having troubles with Vegnagun’s torso so you’ll have to deal with it.
