The final battle! Shuyin’s Achilles heel is his predictability: he will repeat eight attacks over and over again. These attacks will be familiar to those who have played Final Fantasy X since they were Tidus’s. The only difference is in the attacks’ name.
- Normal attack.
- Terror of Zanarkand: one target, hits 8 times and deals about 250 damage points per hit. Shuyin strikes several times with his sword, he then drops the sword into the ground and leaps from it for the final strike. (Tidus’s Blitz Ace).
- Normal attack.
- Hit & Run: six randomly selected targets, deals about 100-150 damage points in each. Shuyin quickly runs from an area to another. (Tidus’s Slice & Dice).
- Normal attack.
- Spin Cut: one target, deals about 150 damage points. Shuyin stands in front of the target, flips and slashes with his sword. (Tidus’s Spiral Cut).
- Normal attack.
- Force Rain: all targets, about 400-800 damage point per hit. Shuyin jumps and sways his sword back to collect energy. He then swings it forward, shooting out rays. (Tidus’s Energy Rain overdrive).
The most dangerous attack is Terror of Zanarkand, with its 2000 damage point it could also KO your character if your level isn’t high enough. Use your strongest physical (Excalibur, Darkness) or magical attacks (Flare, Ultima) to hit Shuyin. As always one character should concentrate on healing and protecting the party.
