1000 Words & Real Emotion
The first theme song of Final Fantasy X-2‘s soundtrack is real Emotion, a J-Pop style song written by Ken Kato and composed by Kazuhiro Hara. The second song is 1000 Words, a slow ballad written by scenario writers Kazushige Nojima and Daisuke Watanabe.
Jade Villalon from Sweetbox made the English version of these songs, which were also included as bonus tracks on the Japanese release of her album Adagio.
The Japanese versions instead, are sung by Koda Kumi who also provided the voice of Lenne and performed motion capture for the opening FMV. A slightly different English version of both songs was released on Koda Kumi’s CD single Come with Me.
