Hello Jupiter serves as Sohryu.nu’s update journal, a place to collect new and past updates for all the sites hosted on this network. While Hello Jupiter is my main updates blog, I do also have a community on Livejournal to which entries are cross-posted: yupiteru. If you are an “LJ-type”, feel free to watch the community to stay up-to-date. Comments can be only left here on the domain, though.

And talking about comments…I’d obviously love to receive feedback on new sites or the updates I make in general. In other words: gratuitous bashing is not welcome, constructive criticism on the other hand is ;)

Personal things aren’t dealt with in this blog, but can be found at my Livejournal account: eclore. And if you need to ask something to me, check the FAQ and my contact page.

The Updates

In April 2011 I graduated from university and I’m currently taking a “vacation at home” after the arrival of my puppy :)
Doggie duties aside I now have the chance to find some quality time for my websites, both opened and upcoming, so updates will come frequently!

Please note: if you used to read my updates on Livejournal before I moved here, you might want to take a look at the [NET] Where Did My Webmistress Go? post to see what has changed and other information about this current setup.

The Sites

Categories and tags should be self-explanatory, but in case you are confused here is a round up of all the sites, which have at least one update published.

The Name

Choosing a name for the blog wasn’t easy, mainly because I was looking for a relatively short username related the blog’s name. And given the number of Livejournal users it was quite an hard research. After many frustrating attempts, the sentence Hello Saturn popped up in my mind. I eventually swapped Saturn with Jupiter because Asuka Sohryu Langley is a Sagittarius and the symbol’s planet is…guess what: Jupiter.

The Credits

The layout used is the Clean Home theme and it was slightly modified by me. All the icons that identify my sites (basically the ones near each entry’s title and meta) were also made by me and cannot be reused on your Livejournal/Deadjournal/you name it. Resources used to make those icons are listed at The Wired.
