Sohryu.nu has two new affiliates: Amy’s FaintSmile.org and Kersheys’ Skyling.net. Needless to say, both of them are well worth a visit!!!
I apologize for the late post girls! I know you mailed me ages ago and I put the links up only today *head desk*. I updated Sohryu.nu‘s home page before leaving for holidays, but I was caught up in the preparations and I forgot to upload the page on the server -___-;;;

And now I’ve got a question for you, readers: I’m thinking about moving the update blog part to Sohryu.nu. All the entries will be cross-posted either here or on a separate community with the possibility to leave comments on Sohryu.nu. I would like to know if with this setup keeping up to date and commenting would be too troublesome :)

Anyway, this is a super quick bullet list post to say that:
- Sohryu.nu is now affiliated with Misaki’s domain wasurenaide.org;
- I cleaned up my affiliates’ list and deleted dead links;
- I am working on a new shrine, unfortunately I am also taking a few exams during this winter session so things are going a bit slow. However, I’m quite confident this new site will be up by the end of the month;

Super quick post before heading to school to say that I’m testing a new script on Sohryu.nu so the following pages/sites are temporary unavailable:

If the test works, everything should be back online this afternoon/evening.
EDIT on September 18: the test is over, all the pages listed above work fine :)

Back in December 2007, when I put Sohryu.nu on hiatus, I though I would have been able to open three new sites within one year. I prepared four season-themed hiatus layouts and planned to revamp the main domain shortly after.
Unfortunately a year has passed and I’m still far from reaching that goal. Still, it bugged me to leave Sohryu.nu with such an old layout so the past week I decided to make a new one during the weekend. I had obviously over-estimated my layout-making ability because, as usual, what seemed like a good idea it just didn’t work in practice. It took me three different tries (which translated in terms of time were one week) to reach a satisfying result.
Version 4 is a one-page layout using the same structure as The Wired and featuring Asuka Sohryu Langley. I accidentally found those images while I was doing an early spring cleaning on my mum’s computer. The layout has been tested in Firefox and Safari. I have also tested it in IE, although it works fine only in IE7 or higher, IE6 has that famous margin issue*.
(*) And, at the moment, I’m too lazy to look up for a simple way to fix it .__.
Regarding the hiatus, I have no clue on when it will end. School, and IRL in general, are keeping me so busy it’s hard to make predictions. However the revamp is proceeding with a slow, but steady pace :)
Small side note: the layout was uploaded on March 16, but since I had an oral test this Friday I didn’t have the time to post about it.

Oh no, she did it again!
Sohryu.nu has a new layout featuring yet again those lame things.
Sometime after I put Sohryu.nu on hiatus, I realized that my idea of re-opening it in March wasn’t realistically achievable. First I needed to conclude some old stuff on my to-do list, second I wanted to add at least one new site (no fanlistings allowed! Seriously, I like them but a fanlisting-only domain isn’t exactly what I want), third the two-week break thanks to Easter holidays wasn’t enough to do these things.
Therefore I decided to prolong the hiatus, re-opening Sohryu.nu without any significant addition of content would have been pointless. Even more considering that there isn’t a lot up at the moment. (But there will be è__é)
Still, I wanted to do something. And there you go: now Asuka and Pen Pen are in a green, bright and colourful setting. They still wear hats because I didn’t know how to properly draw their hair, it might be spring but the weather is still cold (here at least, today the temperature was around 5°C).
It’s a simple layout, but making it was so funny! I even like it more than the previous one, maybe because it’s brighter, or maybe because it’s a bit more detailed…who knows. As I said, I enjoyed making it and I think it turned out pretty well.
The layout was actually uploaded few days ago, on the 21st of March to be exact…just in time for spring *phew*. Today I slightly modified the introduction and added a small updates section. Nothing else has changed.
Regarding the hiatus duration: I can’t predict how much university will keep me busy this semester -even though for my own sanity I’ll try not to sink myself in student life like I did in the past- therefore I can’t say when the hiatus will end.
At least now I have some spare time that should allow me to update more often :)
