Silhouette has been recently updated with two new albums.
The first new album was created for Weird, the one-page shrine dedicated to Serial Experiments Lain. So far, this album has all the four Lain artbooks scanned, plus a few pencil sketches downloaded from the official site, which are no longer available. For downloading purposes, most of the images scanned (not the sketches, they come in their original size) were greatly resized. I did however leave them large enough to make wallpapers/big arts and, of course, they are perfect to be used in small arts such as icons and buttons.
At the moment there aren’t any caps. As I have already anticipated in Weird‘s launch post, it’s likely that some errors occurred (without me noticing it) when I converted the episodes taken from the DVD, in files I could load from my HD. Needless to say, I do plan to take the caps again and add them to the gallery. I still don’t know when I will do that since I still have lots of things to do this month.
There are however caps in the second album added to Silhouette. I Miss You now has a gallery with HD caps from my own copy of The Nightmare Before Christmas. I decided to cap the entire film and not only the Jack/Sally scenes since I couldn’t find any HD caps online.
On the technical side, Zenphoto was upgraded to the latest version and everything went quite smooth (considering I didn’t notice my version was very outdated ^_^;;;). I also slightly modified the layout, but nothing major. A new layout is planned, not for now, though…as I said before I’ve got a lot on my plate!
That’s all for Silhouette, but I have much more in store for the other sites on the network (both old and new), so keep an eye on Hello Jupiter ;)
Coming up: I'm trying to expand the media section of all the shrines I own. As of yet, I don't know which site will I update next, but I would like to regularly update Silhouette with new content. And maybe a new layout :)

This is the first of two shrines*, that will be opened in the next days. I Miss You was created after seeing the One Month One Shrine marathon at Amassment. I picked Jack and Sally rather on a whim, but I was glad I did because it was a nice challenge. Although I had already made a couple shrine (Odi et Amo), I had never done a couple shrine from an animated film.
(*) Actually there would be three, but with four exams left the release will likely be postponed.

Who needs Legolas when we have an awesome playable elf? In other words, there’s a new layout for the fanlisting collective featuring the cutest pointed-ears guy of the videogame world: Link from the Zelda series :x
When I started making the layout I wanted not to use an artwork but it didn’t work :/ After five unsatisfactory layouts featuring promotional images of Sark and Lauren from Alias (bad guys <3) I thought a change of subject was quite compulsory. I choose Link because (apart from the fact that elves are hot) the Legend of Zelda series is one of my favourite videogame series.
The layout is (surprise!) green with some spots of light blue, I hope it’s not too bright and/or too heavy.
Version number 3 features:
- re-written sections and subsections
- added a description to most of my owned fanlistings
- KIM/wishlist have been updated
- WordPress integration (no more manual updates *yay*)
- four new buttons on the link in page
- XHTML and CSS valid and compatibility with both Firefox/Opera/Safari/any *real* browser and IE
Unfortunately I didn’t have the time to add a description to all the fanlistings I own, with my crappy English it always take me a lot of time to write even short paragraphs.
Regarding my exams…thanks to what could be considered the greatest timing in the world I got the flu. And I got the flu right two days before when I should have taken my last exam for this session…isn’t it awesome? X(
However, since I didn’t have to study I’ve managed to:
- make a new layout and five codes for the Jack Skellington/Sally fanlisting,
- make five codes for the Craig Nicholls fanlisting,
- adopt out the Addams Family series and The Gift fanlistings to, respectively, Astra and Kya,
- adopt out the Squaresoft fanlisting too; my dear friend physicer took it over,
- update WordPress to the latest version.
The problem with the Livejournal plugin hasn’t been fixed yet so I will continue to cross-post the entries manually.
