Short preamble: I was supposed to publish this post back in September, but then I got busy with some IRL stuff so…I forgot it -__- Anyway, here it is now.
Since the last update two marathons were held at Amassment and, needless to say, I participated to both of them. I combined the results of these marathons in one post since they both dealt with shrines.
For the banner trade marathon the following shrines received new buttons: Ab Intra; I Miss You; Nymph; Odi et Amo; Shades of Grey; Weird. A special thanks goes to Ava; Crystal; Destinie; dubiousdisc; Juhi; Michelle; and Stefi who donated the buttons.
For the link drive meme instead, many shrines of mine either received new affiliates or made link exchanges with other shrines. Here is the complete list:
Outside the link meme, but still regarding affiliation, Nocturne was affiliated with Lunar Shadow, Brittany’s Yuna shrine, which I already had on my link list.
All the shrines mentioned above have also been added on The Wired. I may left out one or two sites, but they will be added soon because I’m planning to do a quick link update/cleaning in between the other things I have on my (incredibly long) to-do list. (Sigh…so much to do, so little time ;__;).
Fanlistings affiliations (both done trough the meme and outside the meme) will be covered in another post (along with some *tentative* adoptions…maybe :P).

With the whole thesis business over, this is the first (of many) posts to mark my return on the web scene. Because of university exams first and thesis after, I neglected all my sites for a few weeks (if not months)…now that I finally have spare time I’m slowly starting to work on them again.
Although I still haven’t made that priority list I talked about in the previous posts, I wanted to start with an old project: Nocturne. Nocturne was the very first shrine to be opened on Sohryu.nu in 2008 and I haven’t touched it in almost two years so it was quite compulsory to start from it. Here is what I have done:
- Complete revision to fix typos and rewording some sentences
- Fixed a problem with images (due to the wrong image path all the images didn’t work)
- Re-added all the affiliates because they had disappeared (go figure why…). Affiliation requests are obviously welcome ;-)
- Added a few new shrines in the Links section and removed all the dead links
This revision doesn’t mean Nocturne is now finished; there are still a few things to do before I can actually label it as complete and archive it. The media section in particular is the part of the shrine that needs to be expanded the most with the addition of voice clips, cutscenes videos and in-game caps. Sadly when I first played Final Fantasy X-2 I recorded only FMVs so, in order to get al the other footages, I will have to replay the game. I now have all the equipment to do that, but X-2, as all Final Fantasy, requires some time to be cleared. I may be able to replay during the summer, but right now I cannot be sure…. As I said, I don’t know on which sites I’m going to work so it might take awhile before I’ll make those additions.
Anyway, until I play X-2 again, Nocturne will be on hiatus while I work on the other shrines.

I don’t know if it is the German atmosphere for there is a new site up. Not a shrine this time, but something for shrines: an image gallery.
At the moment there are only caps for Nocturne, so stills from videos featuring Shuyin. I plan to add others when new shrines will be up and include artbook scans as well.
I would have liked to add the scans from Final Fantasy X-2 Visual Arts Collection, but I forgot to actually scan the pages before leaving and obviously I don’t have a scanner, nor the artbook here in Aachen :/
As with Odi & Amo, I cannot check Silhouette in internet Explore, but there shouldn’t be problems.
Also, friends list I need your help and I’d like to hear your opinions on a few things regarding the caps currently up. I will enlisted my “doubts” in another post, which I will probably publish tomorrow(*).
That should be all. If there is something I forgot due to me being half asleep half awake (or rather 2/3 asleep and 1/3 awake), I’ll edit the post tomorrow xD
(*) I would finish to write it now, if only I could stay awake /been around all day so now I’m very, very tired -_-zZZz

There are two new affiliates at Nocturne (sorry again for my super huge delay -__-):
- Poltergeist by Todd is a personal tribute to Tidus,
- Ligne de Vie, is another shrine dedicated to Tidus made by Aranie.
Both shrines are truly well-done so visit them (if you haven’t already done it).
Remember, affiliation is still open. If you own a Final Fantasy X/X-2 shrine and would like to affiliate with Nocturne, don’t hesitate to contact me :)
Regarding that secret shrine I mentioned in my previous Nocturne update, it should be up next week. For real!
A lot of time passed between these two updates but I encountered many problems while working on it, and I basically had to re-do the whole thing. Anyway, more details when I’ll open it.

Nocturne is now affiliates with Chrissy’s Will (http://yuna.reflera.org/) a great shrine dedicated to one of my favourite Final Fantasy girls: Yuna. I had also wrote a longer comments for affiliated shrines, but I accidentally deleted them /stupid me -__- They will be re-added ASAP!
Upcoming for Nocturne:
- expand the media section with the addition of an image gallery
- include my Shuyin fanlisting in the shrine
Side note: regarding that secret shrine I talked about a while ago…it should be opened this week, or the next one at the latest. Maybe. (I’m not that good what it comes to make predictions. :P)
