Short preamble: I was supposed to publish this post back in September, but then I got busy with some IRL stuff so…I forgot it -__- Anyway, here it is now.
Since the last update two marathons were held at Amassment and, needless to say, I participated to both of them. I combined the results of these marathons in one post since they both dealt with shrines.
For the banner trade marathon the following shrines received new buttons: Ab Intra; I Miss You; Nymph; Odi et Amo; Shades of Grey; Weird. A special thanks goes to Ava; Crystal; Destinie; dubiousdisc; Juhi; Michelle; and Stefi who donated the buttons.
For the link drive meme instead, many shrines of mine either received new affiliates or made link exchanges with other shrines. Here is the complete list:
Outside the link meme, but still regarding affiliation, Nocturne was affiliated with Lunar Shadow, Brittany’s Yuna shrine, which I already had on my link list.
All the shrines mentioned above have also been added on The Wired. I may left out one or two sites, but they will be added soon because I’m planning to do a quick link update/cleaning in between the other things I have on my (incredibly long) to-do list. (Sigh…so much to do, so little time ;__;).
Fanlistings affiliations (both done trough the meme and outside the meme) will be covered in another post (along with some *tentative* adoptions…maybe :P).
Coming up: fanlisting collective post regarding affiliations/adoptions, network fall/winter projects plan

Wow…it has been so long since an update was done to The Wired!
Actually, I hadn’t planned to update this website, but when I noticed that 2010 in the last update date I decided to do something before continuing to work on some old sites’ updates and Amassment‘s One Month, One Shrine marathon (more on that later).
Anyway, all the links were checked and I removed quite a few dead links. I also added a new section on the Fandom page dedicated to Final Fantasy IV shrines and added many new link on the Resource page based on the brushes/textures/etc… I’ve used in my latest layouts.
Time to go back to my shrines now!
P.S.: yesterday I played with :wp: in order to fix some problems I was having in the admin panel. To make a long story short…things got messy and I had to re-install this blog, making a lot of corrections manually (featured icon, categories and tags, etc…). Everything seems to be working fine now, but I still haven’t finished to check. If you see something wrong, please let me know :)

After launching my Zell shrine I decided to open a new section on The Wired, with a list of shrines I like/visit/etc….
So far this section includes only shrines from the same series of my own shrines, which means Neon Genesis Evangelion, Final Fantasy VIII and Final Fantasy X/X-2, but it will be definitely expanded in the future :)
I also did some spring cleaning; a few dead links were deleted and about 15 new websites were added. As usual link exchanges and/or affiliation are accepted.
Coming up: nothing ATM (except from link checks once in a while).

"Oh dear! Oh dear! I shall be too late!"
One week later than what I had planned*, I opened The Wired. It’s not exactly a full-blown website, but it’s something I wanted to do for a long time. As I’ve explained in the “Site Information” paragraph, the original idea was to create an independent page (with their own name, layout, etc…) for some special sections like “contact” or “FAQ”. Unfortunately this would have required to create around 5 layouts, something which in Sofia-layout-making-time would have meant many days weeks.
*Sorry but Pokémons are addictive. Very addictive. Oh, and I also got the flu. I wonder why if there’s an illness in the air I always have to catch it. Guess my immunity system kind of sucks -___-
So The Wired doesn’t bear actual content but (since I was at it) I took the chance to do a little revision. Every section was checked and received some additions here and there, but most notably I’ve expanded the “Credits” and “Links” sections. I still have to add some links to the “Credits” section though…I can’t find my old credits list so I’m trying to recall which resources I had used.
Few words on the design now. Full width, header-type layout aren’t exactly my thing…I had already tried to do something similar (back when I was working on the third version of the fanlisting collective) and I had miserably failed. But this time I wanted to try something different and I stubbornly continued to work on my layout draft until I got something I liked *willpower wins*.
There’s only one little thing that bugs me: the width. This is probably my first layout whose image is larger than 800px. High screen resolution + large screen make everything look so little ;__;
