What a wonderful surprise!
After days spent working non-stop on, guess what, my thesis I checked my inbox and saw that Ab Intra was nominated Site of the Month at Amassment. Thanks Mikari for nominating Ab Intra and Yamila for choosing it :) And also thank you to anyone who commented the nomination post (see below). It is always nice to receive feedback, especially for a shrine which is still in a sort of “baby phase” and from a series not very popular in the shrining community!

I still haven’t decided from which site I’ll start to work once I finish to write my thesis, but certainly Ab Intra is one of my favourite tributes so far and there are so many things I have to add so it definitely ranks high among the possible choices!
And after this brief update I can turn thesis mode on again.

I am terribly late at posting this, but Blitzartig, my Zell shrine, was Amassment non-animanga shrine of the month (August).

And talking about Final Fantasy VIII…the good news is that I finally began to replay it *__*
Yesterday I did the Tomb of the Unknown King mission, which leaves me the sorceress assassination part to complete DISC 1. Replaying Final Fantasy VIII was something I wanted to do since…well since my last attempt at replaying it didn’t succeed because I got stuck at DISC 2 (faulty disc grrr). And aside from playing for the game’s sake, I have in mind a shrine for another Final Fantasy VIII‘s character (if not two) that I am 100% confident I will make it. Although it won’t be the next site I’ll open, I am preparing the knowledge base, so to speak, in order to be ready when I actually start to work on it (so that I won’t have to rely on my circa 8-year-old notes as I did with Blitzartig :D).
The second good news is that the recording system is working fine so I will have a lot of graphic goodies to upload to Silhouette. Some of the material I have recorded so far includes Zell’s introductory video, all the cutscenes between Squall, Zell and Seifer during the Dollet mission, the first bit of the Pig-tail girl quest and much more…. I haven’t decided yet whether to upload both screencaps and videos or just upload images, but that’s something I’ll figure out later.
Coming up: work on the media section and/or expand the Quotes/Biography pages.
